Meet the “Two”
Two Happy is a family run inclusive wellness community inspired by my twin brothers, Edin and Haris, who have Down syndrome.
As the twins entered adulthood, we noticed how few opportunities there were in the community for them to stay active, connected, and involved. In 2019, we started a free weekly fitness class, which would eventually lay the foundation for Two Happy and the community we have today.
Two Happy is operated through Northern Valley Sports Academy, our family’s activity center in Closter, New Jersey. Our programs bring together individuals with and without disabilities, creating a bridge between communities and more opportunities for genuine belonging.
What started as wanting to create the kind of program we wished existed for my brothers has grown into something I truly can’t believe I get to call work. Getting to build this community alongside them and watch it continue to grow is one of the best parts of my life.
